Because this gun is fairly small, about the size of your average .25 auto pistol, it was a prime choice for police officers to use it as a backup pistol. quite often strapped to the ankle
Hitting the latch pops the barrel up enabling the user to load four individual bullets into four different chambers. An individual firing pin for each barrel, the COP is one of the only guns that uses a rotating and ratcheting striker which fires each chamber in sequence one after the other
